Memorial Garden

The Memorial Garden Committee is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the Memorial Garden, located on the west side of the church building. The Garden is a place of peace and natural beauty for prayer and contemplation, spiritually appropriate for the inhumation or interment of cremains. It features a brick patio and stone wall with memorial plaques, surrounded by a variety of flowers, trees and shrubs. Benches are provided.

The Garden, dedicated in 1988, is primarily for church members and their loved ones. It is tended completely by volunteers and funded with contributions (not from the church budget), so help of any kind is welcome. There is also an endowment fund. The active season begins with a half-day work session in May and ends with another in October. Committee members are always available to answer questions or assist families with interment arrangements.
